"Big enough" is a function of your pocketbook and your patience. The 7500 FEL will hold between 5 and 6 cubic feet and it has enough power to lift that volume of wet soil and more.
It also has plenty of power, and more importantly the gearing, to handle a box scraper at least as wide as the tractor (48 inches).
Tractors of this class will do most any job, they are just a bit slower than the next size up. This is especially true when it comes to running a mower or a brush cutter. ....

Tires choices are dictated by your soil conditions and geography,.... for example, I live on a high desert sand dune and R-1's are the worst possible tires for me.
Ask locally, and when in doubt, get industrial's. ....

Hello fellow Texan. As for tire choice what are you going to mow with your new tractor? If pasture rough cut and a lot of dirt work I would go ag tires. If any kind of lawn or finish mowing where you don't want to tear up the lawn go R4. The R4's are real popular now and a cross between ags and turfs, they give you some traction and don't tear up the lawn too bad. I'm looking at a 7500 also, haven't bought it yet but down to the wire. I am still considering the 2710. Let me know how your shopping/buying adventure goes. ....

That's a pretty good price, I got 12490 quoted for the same thing. Be sure to ask your dealer about a farm/ag exemption for the sales tax. One of the dealers I went to mentioned it but I haven't talked to him more about it. Oh and sorry read your post too fast, misread moving for mowing : ) ....

Jerry,
Which model FEL was that? "I got the B7500 with FEL, brush guard, R4's, and foldable ROPS for $12,150".
I was looking at a B7500HSD this week with the 302FEL and the quote was 12,550. Just curious if your was the same loader. That is a nice price.
Thanks. Mike ....
